Hands-On Dahlia Tuber Division Workshop October 2026

Join us on Saturday, October 10th from 10 AM to 12 PM for a hands-on workshop at EarthSpoke Farm during our cozy pumpkin patch season! In this special event, you’ll learn the entire process of dividing dahlia tubers—from digging up clumps, to identifying eyes, to creating healthy divisions that will thrive next season. We’ll walk you step-by-step through the process, answer your questions, and give you the confidence to divide your own tubers at home.

This is a perfect workshop for gardeners who want to expand their dahlia knowledge, grow their own collection, and enjoy a fall morning on the farm surrounded by friendly people and pumpkins.

The best part? You’ll take home up to 10 tubers that you’ve divided yourself, choosing from cultivars available in the field. You can even swap tubers with others in the workshop to build a fun, unique collection of dahlias to grow next year.

Please wear comfortable shoes, clothes you don't mind getting dirty, and gardening gloves- everything else will be provided. This small-group, interactive experience is the perfect event for local gardeners who want to deepen their skills, expand their dahlia patch, and enjoy a beautiful fall morning on the farm.
